Hi,

http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... 1075&extra=page%3D1

i run the build on Opi plus, and there are issues:

- remote control through HDMI for LG TV does not work properly, only fiew keys work, but not that one as you want :-) for push button there is a totally different reaction on TV, that is only for few keys.
- WiFi does not connect to AP 1043 with OpenWrt WPA2, wired network works ok.
- no official repository is avaliable in build for OpenElec

Other functions looks OK, I have RPi2 and on OPI plus there is 4 times faster then on RPi2

Are you sure that you are using your remote control through HDMI ?
From what I know of HDMI-CEC doesn't work, so maybe your remote control work through IR ?
If it is true, try this: http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... 648&page=11#pid7602

And please, stop posting same comment on several topics.

hello, just a info if any of you know. i got OpenELEC-H3.arm-7.0-devel-20151228100408-r21817-g18acaa8.img on my OPI PC and it's working for most parts (video and tv show don't point to the list of files they take me to video options) but after first reboot i can't get it to boot. it's stuck on boot img. (gave it more then 2h to boot)

You are using extremely old build which doesn't have HW rendering or HW deinterlacing. Please update first (check sticky thread).

I will prepare a patch with 4K support. If your tests will pass, I will put it in my repo.

EDIT: H ...

I tested the patch and script.bin changes with my >1 year old LG UltraHD TV model 40ub800T which supports as per spec 4Kp60 (limited).
I can see proper Picture using 4kp30 and 4kp25 but nothing on screen when 4kp24 is selected. The same TV has no issues when 1080p24 though. Probably something to do with my TV's 4k support. Not sure.

Need to see if it performs well with 4k content. During my tests I can see too much stuttering, 1 cpu core at 100% etc. Probably because of WiFi or something related to the decoding thread which really demands high single core performance and this may be the edge case which made Xunlong to ship the boards clocked at 1536Mhz

Try using one from the Loboris linux images or whichever image which has the SATA working. It should work.

It is not CEC but few keys in your LG remote getting recognized by Orange PI IR sensor. If you have doubt try same after putting a tape over the IR sensor and see.

But that is good enough if you program the usable keys using LIRC as mentioned in the tutorial in the first page.

EDIT: H ...

Thanks for the patch.  I'll need a little help to get moving in the right direction.

1) I can't seem to find that directory to apply the patch.  Is that done before building from source?
2) I'm on a mac, the image on the SD card is not readable to me so I can't access script.bin.
3) Do you know what the root password is for zidoo x1 image?
4) Unrelated but I need to expand the SD card to use the full 32GB size, "sudo" isn't found to run "raspi-config" assuming that is the right way to do it.  Any suggestions?

Thanks again,
Michael
