I tried installing the ubuntu image. but runs to alot of software update issue and when I need to install some python development programs  there are alot of errors.

So i jump to armbian. Everything is working fine only except that the wifi cannot detect the adapter at all? Anyway to get the wifi working on armbian?

The Orange Pi Debian image has working wifi (Zero2 on-board) and it does work pretty well. For USB, the only working option is RTL8188CUS, however, something seems with iptables routing for AP use.
I have had no luck with any other images, not without running into several issues. Armbian won't likely have wifi and other issues worked out any time soon.

the problem is the these images are really bad. I tried the ubuntu image. many problems installing softwares etc.


From now on, unless there is suppoted armbian if no I will not buy the board. Wasted 2 good board.

I have Android installed on my Zero2 at the moment, but I do not recall having WiFi issues in either debian or armbian images previously.
