I have tried a couple of cheap BT dongles I have with my OPI-PC with every Android IMG I can find and can tell you that Cambridge Silicon Radio chips don't work.  Do you have BT working? What adapter are you using. Which Android IMG are you using?

I have the same problem.
I tried using USB Device Info application and it recognizes the dongle, but Bluetooth is not visible in Settings.

I tried using a new BT dongle (cheap one) and also an old Level One dongle. With the command "su busybox lsusb" I get the ID 0a12:0001 on both devices. Looks like they both use the same Cambridge Silicon Radio chips.

Seems like the device is blacklisted: http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/46457-bluetooth-dongle/

Is there a way arround this?

BTW, the post also suggests that a Dlink DBT-122 dongle could work.

Did you manage to get it working after all?
I bought a USB Bluetooth dongle and yes, I see it as well with USB Device Info, but I can't activate it. I am using the Tronsmart image

Great! It worked. Let me write the steps in case somebody tries as well.

I have tried with the Beelink image
Connected my Bluetooth into a USB port
Installed the apk USB Device Info that you can find in the Google Play
Uploaded the DB via the USB Device Info application.
After this, I closed the USB Device Info
Opened the Android Settings.
Now the bluetooth is available.

I have at home a Bluetooth GPS module, that I want to connect to the OrangePi. Even I could pair the BlueGPS to the board, it did not recognize it as a GPS. I installed an app to read external GPS devices, and I can actually read the GPS values, but Sygic does not see the GPS hardware.
I will investigate a little further and post the results. But I must say that I am getting more and more excited with the potential of this board.

I have tried with the Bee ...

I did exactly as described in the previous message.

I installed Beelink_X2-SC_V1.1-Custom_ROM in my "ORANGE PI PC".

I entered CRS4.0 bluetooth dongle

I launched "USB Device Info" and updating the database.
The result is in the image below:

Vendor ID: 0a12
Product ID: 138a

But there is no bluetooth in the settings.
Why?

I am not sure, but could it be that your product is "not in db", and as it is not in the database, it could not install the drivers?

I am right now dealing with a similar problem for a touch panel via USB. I can see the vendor code and the product id, but I do not get it in the DB and I can't use it.
Let's see if somebody knows more than I do, and we get some help in how to fix these aspects.
