I don't really understand why OPi PC is announced as 1,6GHz capable device.

Numbers sell.

1st test with cpuburn OPi PC without radiator and I didn't succeed. When OPi is iddle (480MHz@1V) te ...

BTW: There exists a newer version of RPi-Monitor for H3 devices: http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... 1&fromuid=29411 (already added this in the 1st post of this thread).
Then in the meantime the linux-sunxi devs developed sane settings suited for general useage (my highly undervolted settings might not work everywhere): http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... 0&fromuid=29411 (there you find also a link to the linux-sunxi mailing list where Siarhei sheds some light in the overvolting/overclocking history regarding H3 based Orange Pis -- most of my own assumptions were wrong)

And in case you use a Debian based distro the fix is easy: http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... 5&fromuid=29411 (as outlined there my script now applies the linux-sunxi settings)

BTW: We still need Orange Pi PC users that help with determining sane DRAM clockspeeds: http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... 7&fromuid=29411

@bronco: thanks for guiding me to latest threads.

Everyone who is interested of RPi-monitor continue and take a look here:
http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... 1&fromuid=29411

Who cares about sane kernel temperature settings for OPi-PC follow this link:
http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... wthread&tid=870

I think that this thread can be closed.

BTW @bronco: Thank you for your excellent article:
http://linux-sunxi.org/User_talk ... and_USB_peripherals

I would like to contributing in DRAM reliability testing, but in this moment it looks like this is beyond my knowledge. I need some self study in this. And because is Christmas time I can't promise anything...
