Apply for Orange Pi

To facilitate a more user friendly experience and promote further the
developments of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics) based on Orange Pi’s
products. The Orange pi.org is opening the applications for experiencing the Orange Pi samples.

1、Application conditions (in one of the following conditions)
STEAM( “Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics”)
- To launch the open source projects of STEAM based on Orange Pi;
- Start a Project (a software or hardware projects, based on Orange Pi)
- For any open source projects, based on Orange Pi, are helpful to the public welfare and education;
- To develop Orange Pi-based open source hardware peripherals projects;
Orange Pi fans (do something for Orange Pi)
- Whoever is willing to participate in Orange Pi's development community and undertake maintenance Work, such as Orange Pi's system development and transplantation;
- To create tutorial, user guide, wiki or video guide for the Orange Pi users, and distribute them under the license of CC BY-SA 3.0.

2、Application procedure
Step 1. Post a Poll in ‘Apply for Orange Pi’
- Choose the ‘item’ your project belonging(See the application conditions)

- Post a Poll

- Fill the poll name and options

Step 2. Fill in application forms
To describe the application reasons for Orange Pi samples in the forum. Please answer the seven question below, and some sample answers is listed
- Q1: What’s name of the Project?
- Q2: Does it an open source project?
- Q3:The Distribution License of the project?
- Q4: Application Number of Orange Pi
- Q5: Self introduction of the applicant.
- Q6: The open source/share content, where can the community find them?
- Q7:Other things need to be claim.

Step 3. Apply for checking (any one of the two)
- Community recommendation
The administrator present the preliminary examination report based on the assessment status of the community users. The users will get the chances who give much more than 50 comments in 2 weeks, and the high praise rate is more than 70 %.
- Special recommendation of administrator
The administrator specially recommends, as the same time welcome everyone to supervise.
Step 4. Mailing samples
- The administrator will contact the qualified users by email and sign the undertaking. Then mailing the samples after you provide the address.
- Applicants have to bear the freight. Samples will be mailed by SF-Express for all the users, including Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, and Korea and so on.
- The users can also choose the DHL (priority), UPS, FedEx, or China Post.
Step 5. Project feedback
- According to the undertaking, the users have responsibility to make feedback to Orange Pi about the product experiences.
- The project sponsors need to answer the corresponding questions of the project users.
