I recently received my orange pi 5 board but I didn't find any support for the SSD in the package. I've been looking through my screws for other ssd's but they are all smaller.

I don't know if you need a specific nut that fits into the available hole.

Has anyone solved? Can you tell me what to use as a spacer? Thank you

Hi Duca,

Thats the problem that became a solution for me.

I've bought a spacer and screw that is smaller than the big hole in the board.

Than I screwed the spacer in the NVME, thats the key point, and with a little pressure it fits to the place.

I made a squared hole in my acrylic case, This way I can exchange between my two NVME.

See image below, and good luck...

Peace from Brazil.

many thanks for your reply, could i see a picture from below and from the side to better understand what kind of screw did you use?

great idea to cut the acrylic to be able to replace your ssd without disassembling the case

Hi Duca,

The spacer is a little bit narrower than the board hole supporter.

I dont know if you can understand what I'm trying to say, but here you have a picture that says more than 1000 words.

Peace from Brazil.
