Welcome Newcomers!
This is a guide for Orange Pi boards doto the many choices I have made a graph of all of them  if you havemore info please send it and  I will put it in.  I did not include power usage (startup running) which is important as I do not have that info

A brief explanation These are mini computers powered by a ARM prossesor ram and as a harddrive a TF card. After that the options go on to WiFi Bluetooth G2 and SATA connections almost limitless. The computers run Anadroid or  Linux so it is a good thing to familiarize with the OS I am not talking about programing or the like rather to know what distro you want (most command lines you can find explained to you as you need it). However the real shining quality of these computers is that they have a simular GPIO (not the same setup of pins)  as the raspberry Pi that you can literally do what ever you want from GPS to a touch screen to any sensor in the book (sensor packs come in 37 but that is a far cry from what is out there) and the computer can act accordingly from home automation to robots to NAS the sky is the limit!
Choosing A Pi The options is in the chart above however there are sometimes other factors that are worth mentioning here
GPIO do you need 26 or 40 more is differently better ( for example a kuman 3.5 inch touchscreen takes 15 pins) but it factors in on size too however the 26 are not pins rather holes and need to be soldered in wires or aheader that you need to buy, the 13 pin header is a output of ports from the cpu.
Processor make sure to check that your selected distro runs on it and that it is still current the faster processor like the A64  is what we call cutting edge that it does not have a lot of support yet         WiFi in linux not all chipsets have good drivers (thus making a good chipset bad) like theXR819 be sure to check to see if it can do what you want it to do (monitor mode works on only very selected chipsets)
Ethernet not all boards have and the smaller ones do not have gigabit ethernet (not very good as NAS) it is worthwhile to check to see if you can get gigabit speeds.
Screen HDMI is almost standard on all boards however you can connect a screen to the GPIO some have a dedicated port for screen and if using that port make sure you get the screen that matches the port or maybe headless is a better way to go
Size and weight how much space you have can change a lot also the weight making a device disappear in a light switch or on a desktop caring in you pocket or in a car
Others Emmc is a big plus freeing up a TF card slot debug is great when you run into problems a battery is instead of a plug or powerbank

It's great that you share such useful information that can be found in the public domain. Any help is important to me, especially the one that concerns the fulfillment of my tasks. I'm preparing a term paper and this is not easy for me https://www.grabmyessay.com/coursework-writing-help And I found a source that helped answer all my questions and prepare properly.
