Seems it`s my first post so please accept my apologies in advance for not being clear.
I get OrangePi 5 and decided to go for boot from m.2 ssd. I successfully booted several time from sd card where latest Ubuntu which I have downloaded from OrangePi official site was installed. I have used this guide:
https://jamesachambers.com/orang ... ide/comment-page-2/
Once restarted my OrangePi booting to the "Emergency Mode" with the following message:
Gave up waiting for root file system device. Common problems:

   Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)

   Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?)

   Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev)

ALERT! UUID= (UUID number) does not exist. Dropping to shell!

As you can see my options are limited to shell hence I decided to ask for your help.
I tried to insert my sd card with m.2 card hoping that some miracle happen and it will boot me to Ubuntu. Unfortunately - no luck.
I have tried to ssh using PuTTy but I was unlucky too.
OrangePi 5 8GB RAM, 256GB M.2 2230 PCIe NVMe, Ubuntu 1:1.30.1-7ubuntu3 (BusyBox v1.30.1-I think it might be relevant)
Please help :-/

It seems that your OrangePi is unable to find the root file system device. This may be due to several reasons such as incorrect boot arguments or missing modules.
Check the boot arguments: You can do this by typing "cat /proc/cmdline" in the shell. Make sure that the root device and root file system are specified correctly.
Check rootdelay: The system may not have waited long enough for the root file system to become available. You can try increasing the rootdelay value in the boot arguments. tunnel rush

Sorry for delay- my life is crazy atm...
I have run the cat /proc/cmdline and here is what I get
Loading, please wait.;
Starting version 249.11-Oubuntu3.6
Begin: Loading essential drivers ... done.
Begin: Running /scripts/Init-premount
...You are in emergency mode. After logging in, type "journalcti-xb" to view
system logs,
"systemeti reboot" to reboot,
"systemct1 default
"exit"
to boot into default mode.
Give root password for maintenance (or press Control-D to continue): root@orangep15:*# cat /proc/cmaline
root=UUID=d8123954-4991-410a-937a-b78495a0e6d rootwait rootfstype-ext4 splash plymouth. ignore-serial-consoles console=ttys2, 1500000 console=tty1 consoleblank=0 loglevel=1 ubootpart=7b3fed9:
MashgR
group_enable-cpuset cgroup_memory=1 group_enable=memory swapaccount=1 root@orangep15:*#

I am just wonder ... Does rootwait is a issue as it is not specified

They just recently updated the faq page in spanish as well. So if anybody is interested they can go to https://www.signnow.com/ask/how-to-create-an-electronic-signature-without-a-pdf-editor and have almost all their questions answered. They also might have an email you could refer to.
