Registration and activation are required each time youinstall QuickBooks Desktop on your system. If you have multiple copies of QBDesktop, you must register or activate QuickBooks Desktop. You will beasked to activate QuickBooks. You can also activate it manually. When youactivate QuickBooks Desktop, a window that says "Set up your Intuitaccount" will appear on your screen. You can link your existing accountinformation by logging into your Intuit account when you activate QuickBooksDesktop. Steps to Register QuickBooks Desktop 2016 or Later VersionsTo register for QuickBooks Desktop 2016 or laterversions, follow these steps: · Start the QuickBooks software and press F2 onyour keyboard. · Check the registration status in the ProductInformation window to the right of your license number. · If the status is Active, you don't need to doanything. Steps to Activate QuickBooks Desktop with an IntuitAccountOn the QuickBooks activation screen, you can choose toactivate with an existing Intuit account or create a new account. If you do nothave an Intuit account, you will need to create a user ID and enter therequired information to complete the activation process. · Visit https: //www.quickbooks.com/account. · Click on the "Forgot User ID orPassword" link. · Enter your registered email address, phonenumber or User ID. · Also, provide the code you received. · Once complete, you will see your User ID andcan reset your password. · To finish, log in again.
