Can someone explain the rules of dominoes clearly?

I know about dominoes, of course, but I never really played. Or I tried, but I didn’t get what you were supposed to do. Just put the tiles down to get rid of them all? I’d like a simple explanation so I can actually start playing.

Have you thought about googling it? If you need the details, better to check specialized sites or just search. Otherwise, I think you’re close to the point 'cause just play your tiles until they’re gone.

You lay tiles with matching numbers next to what’s already on the table. Whoever gets rid of all their tiles first wins. If you’re totally new, I’d suggest starting with classic dominoes. There are also online sites where it’s really easy and simple to play. I’ve also seen variations for people who get bored with classic rules, though I don’t know how anyone could get bored with it.
