Hi,
I am new to this forum, so sorry in advance, if I posted this in the wrong category.

I was wondering if it is possible to somehow install a 3.5mm jack to the device to get audio input (or just get input other than from the mic). The audio expansion board has input via microphone, so I thought maybe it is possible too.
My aim is to do this in order to build device for sampling music with pure data.

Any help is appreciated!

the add on board you stack on top has a audio jack connector.

Can that audio-jack be used for input as well as for output?

I see, thanks for you answer. Sounds promising. I am quite a noob when it comes to programming and such, so all help is appreciated.

To clarify further, what I would like to do:

I would like to either install a second 3.5 inch jack as input, or be able to switch the existing jack from output to input when I need it. Since I do want to output the sound again, after I recorded it I need the output as well.
Would it be possible to make the output an input in pure data?
