Hi! We really need some help with this. We are trying to get access to orange pi 4G-iot - WE have already uploaded via USB the new (android 8.1) version but we are not able to make the HDMI work (since its is probably 48 Hz) - We are willing to pay anybody that we will help us since we have a project deadline and ... we are stuck!

thank you

The HDMI output is a funky 48Hz with 720x1280. A lot of monitors can't sync onto the 48Hz signal. I have four monitors and only one can see the video.

The hardware on the board is capable of putting out a normal 60Hz signal, but it has to be reprogrammed to do that. So far nobody has reprogrammed it.

Hello!! Thank you very much for the reply. Jonsmirl.  I have asked the seller of Aliexpress a solution because it does not appear at any time in the advertisement, he tells me that the engineers are trying to solve it.   A doubt. Once in Android in settings it is possible to change the resolution and the HZ? ..  Another question, the antenna is GPS? It works well?   Thanks for your time!!

It requires changes in the Linux kernel driver for the chip. All of the source code needed to make the change is available, someone just needs to figure out the right way to reprogram the HDMI chip.

Meanwhile try different monitors.  The HDMI output does work, it just doesn't work on all HDMI monitors. The one monitor I have that works is one which support the FreeSync option. But I don't know if that is important or just a coincidence. I can look at the Info Display on that monitor and see the funky 48Hz HDMI output.

I need it for a project in the car, I have a 7 HD touch screen, with hdmi input but it is not compatible. At home I have 2 full HD LG TV and a full HD projector and it is not compatible either.  I find it very wrong that I do not get a standard video output. I do not know why they did this like that.  I hope they solve it soon, for now I have a paperweight of € 40.   Regards!

I was looking for information and plates, the only one that seems to carry gps, if something as easy as gps is impossible to find.  I need Android, hdmi, Bluetooth and gps! And that the kernel is compatible with the 7 "touch screen, also from Aliexpress.!  But you see that it is complicated. I hope you can solve the kernel
