OrangePi Zero (H2 and H5) power supply connection

Connecting the power supply to pin 2 and 6 (instead of to the micro USB connector) I perceive the CPU lowers the generated heat.
Question: is this connection a suitable one?

PS: I searched the forum DB with keyword "orange pi zero heat" and I got zero results. I thought it was strange since it is easy to encounter comments on the considerable heat generated by the board. Therefore I apology in advance if I duplicated a thread.

Yes, powering with 5 Volt on GPIO pins 2/4 (+5V) and 6 (GND) is a working setup.
