Hi,

Is loboris's Ubuntu Mate also affected by this overclocking? I see that sometimes the cpu freq goes up to 1.54 GHz, but when watching a video it stays at 1.2... I think that it is fine. Who knows...

Hey guys,

I test the script.bin in this thread on an OPi PC running 1505 Vivid Mate and it is up and running for ~8 hours now. I could only run for a few minutes before it would freeze up. Good work! I am using inexpensive RPi Alu heatsinks inside the OPi clear case.

Yes I too would like this explained - how do we go from downloading this .FEX file - to having it work on an existing Debian installation -  far too much knowledge assumed here.

For already running instance of OPi it would be easier to download & run Bronco's script. It installs sunxi-tools, gets fex from running instance's bin (bin2fex), makes all necessary changes to dvfs and compiles new bin (fex2bin). Then the only thing you have to do is to reboot the board to get new settings.
