Hi everyone,

I use my orange pi (with allwinner h3 cpu, I dont know exactly is it mini or whatever anyway it have wifi on board) as media center, running android with kodi and youtube. Kodi and Youtube are working flawlessly but antutu crashes after gpu test(when it starts doing cpu test). Also real racing 3 does not start and so some other games/programs. I do not have a heatsink on but it is in relatively cold room. I plan to add some heatsink on but right now I am not sure that problems are there because of lack of heatsink.

I was wondering is there any android build for allwinner h3 cpu that work on orange ? where antutu and the rest works ?

or is it the heatsink problem ?

I found that the latest version of Antutu crashes as you say.  Version 5.7.1 works fine - can be found on apk mirror.

I am thinking that Antutu crashes are rather symptom of something and I just think is there any version of android out that do not have these errors ?

also it is not just antutu that crashes, there are few more of these apps that do crash. Right now the android I use is from post of: http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... &extra=page%3D1

never the less kodi and youtube that I use most for my media needs work alright. I was thinking maybe there's some android out there for h3 that work prefectly, with antutu 6.x and real racing 3 working.

using older version of antutu is like we know there's a problem but we do not talk about it this mentality will not get us to solutions

Right as for me Beelink's ROM is the best with fully working wifi and bluetooth, all usb's and LAN.4k playback is smooth.24k on antutu. Also it runs quite cool 46 degrees on load.

I have the OpiPC - when playing video there's a regular dropping of video frames, audio's fine. Happens with all Android ROMs I've tried, all players and with both local and online videos. Any ideas why? Anything to try? Is it down to GPU? 23k on Antutu, runs at 68 degrees!

There are known issues with hardware initialization for the OPi which are probably to blame. Work needs to be done to correct those issues. Link below explains some of this:

Are you using some kind of cooling .If not put a small heatsink and fan.I am using an 40x40x20mm it covers the soc and the ram.Maybe thats where your lag comes from.Mine never reaches mre than 50.

Have a heatsink & planning to fit a fan. Shouldn't need to really as with the right initialisation settings the H3 SOC should run cool.
