Hi, recently, I decided to buy an orange pi pc plus (not orange pi plus).
But when I realize just I do not have support for. and drive google servers that have to download the OS, are dead.
My intention is to put Android, not as I did, but I managed to download the image of Chinese baidu server. Lubuntu .. it is impossible.
Once I burn the image on the sd, I enter android, change language, connect via wifi and will not let me use any applications running on the Internet.
playstore not work, or the browser or the mail, or anything .. or keyboard options google, I can only listen to music and watch videos.
I do not know if it is because it was burned badly in SD or went I do not understand how you enter the once you connect the card to orange. the burning procedure was correct. also it makes it very clear in the instructions. But as the OS is recorded on the eMMC memory, as I try again to install the os from the beginning ... I returned to burn the sd. Everything was right .. plug it, I hope some time to work, not to spoil anything. But not on typing. Not like putting recovery mode or anything .. do not explain much either ...
I would appreciate some help, thanks. xD T_T
sorry for the English, use google translate. im Spanish.

I too have a orange pi pc plus and I tried Armbian with some success. Wifi seems to work but I could not connect to my WLAN. Maybe a protocol problem. The Android-image from baidu doesn't even boot and Lubuntu I could not get. Interestingly some images for orange pi pc also works on the orange pi pc plus. Android is automatically installing on emmc and works fine except wifi. OpenElec works from SD-Card without wifi. Hope functioning image will released eventually.

Did not had to wait long for a recommendable OpenElec - version for the OPiPC+. It works pefectly and I am very satified!

Armbian support eMMC installation and also wifi works. In case of troubles with connecting check forum for workaround.

Forget about Phoenixcard software.

Hi, I just put in an order for an OPi PC+. I have been reading the forums and am not finding much info on setting up Asterisk. I do not plan on adding anything but Asterisk. Can anyone recomend the best approach for this?

I am noob to Pi and not very knowledgeable with Linux.

The PhoenixCard software is real finicky. Sometimes unplugging sd and putting back in and trying to burn again will eventually work after about 20 times. If you want a working android on sd card without using PhoenixCard, check out my version here.

Using Armbian I can connect without any problem. Lubuntu 14.04 also connects. But Armbian works better in every aspect. Lubuntu heats up and is very slow in everything. (I'm new too)
