Have you tested the same using a different TV?

Connected HDMI-HDMI?

Hello, thanks for your reply.
I've used Raspbian and Android, using the same hdmi cable and tv, and it works fine. I'm going to install the new version.
Thanks.

This seems a good place to ask this, even if this isn't specifically OpenElec-question: does the OPi play HEVC 10-bit, or is it limited to only 8-bit content?

Thank You for this (not that it's new to any of us), I've instaled it from a USB stick and it is working fine.  I always felt, there should be several ways, of getting access to channels.
So, this app opens up better access to M3U lists, so they can be quickly loaded and tested.

I found this youtube user, who has taken the mystery out of finding, and creating usable M3U8 lists.

And, his tools are Linux based here for use.
https://github.com/NapoleonWils0n/kodi-playercorefactory
not only search, but clean process and test found links automatically with just a few useful scripts.
This definantly, will help those, wishing to find and create, their own customized, M3U play lists.

@KSWAPD issue
Don't know if this is still an issue, but, I found this on Ubuntu's forum. Clames to have solved the Kswapd issue, maybe what he's done, can be adapted to modify our kernel.

Issue with kswapd was, lets say, mitigated. I disabled CMA, which otherwise is not the best thing to do, but for our purpose it's acceptable. Kswapd should not be the issue anymore. If we want to do everything correctly, then we should wait for mainline kernel to implement sound and display, but that won't be so soon.

I agree, the new kernel should solve all evils we currently suffer with. We can only hope it's coming soon.

I'm having a strange issue loading up the latest version, using the usual load conditions to a new 16GB class 10 card, it's leaving me wanting.
No signal to my HDMI monitor, though it appears to have loaded properly to the SD card.

has the load operation, or, the monitor setting been changed?

Nothing changed. Most probably your issue is your card. Please see my earlier reply on a similar issue about zeroing out the card before flashing.

Most probably the issue that you are experiencing may be due to the incapability of your monitor/TV to correctly support the 1080p60 hdmi signal. The linux and android distros by default come with 720p60 setting whereas the openelec comes with 1080p60.
So if this theory is correct then you will get a proper display if you modify/replace the script.bin with a 720p one.

can you post complete guide how did you do that.
I am a noob, please provide complete step by step ...

It is not that difficult to add a new driver to openelec compared to replacing the kernel and driver in an image especially if they are not compatible.

The default loboris kernel is built with CONFIG_VERSION and with EXTRA_VERSION set which makes the loboris kernel and openelec kernel incompatible. So you cannot mix and and match loboris kernel or modules with openelec ones unless you completely replace the Kernel and modules in the squashfs filesystem with loboris ones/ even then there is no guarantee that the loboris kernel will correctly start  the openelec systemd.

If you have started building openelec then I can provide you the right direction to properly integrate the mt7601 module. I started it, but didn't get enough time to sit down and complete it. Probably will try to get sometime this week.
