yes i am aware of armbian BUT my problem is that it doesn't have CEC support

Not true. Armbain has CEC support https://forum.armbian.com/index. ... -drm-display-driver and other mission functions will be added, while Raspbian is already frozen in time and it's kernel is in a dead state: https://github.com/OrangePiLibra/OrangePiH5_kernel/commits/master

Good luck.

Yes i am aware of armbian BUT my problem is that it doesn't have CEC support in kernel which is essential for my project.
So anyone had any luck booting Raspbian on the board ?
