Orange Pi Plus or Orange Pi 2?

Hello All,

I am thinking of getting one, but not sure which one to get.
I am more interested in system and network stuffs, so I want to get a board with inbuilt wifi, hence either Plus or Two.

I am more inclined towards Plus because of it's SATA interface and well, inbuilt nand. How is the performance with SATA interface?

It would be really helpful if members owning those can give some information on these two.

Also, I am thinking of getting this U.FL to SMA cable, so tat I can hook up external antenna to OPi.

Sata interface it's only usb module so don't expect more things.

Orange PI + has Gigabit ethernet

I can't talk abot OPi 2, but OPi + is the biggest shit i've ever seen.
when I try to power on, never starts at first time. I have to shut down and start again and again.
don't save the config, every time you power on, you may config languages, install apps, wifi....
how you can install distro in emmc??? i have no idea!!!

maybe it's me who don't know how to config properly but sincerely, I'm very disappointed. this was my first board and probably de last one

well, after some days working on my OPi+, i need to say that my opinion has changed. i'm still having some troubles but in general, i'm satisfied

here working perfect with hardware acceleration with distro android with HD 1080P full HD tv in a pure
ha reported to run fine on 4k

TV that it should be my next purchase

IPO Plus card perfect for use as multimedia and fun
at a fair price
