H6 won't boot from sdcard, can't find mmc device

There are no /dev/mmc* devices.

Trying to build the 4.9 kernel and images.

Looks like there is no support for mmc devices..  Anyone had success?

UPDATE:

I think the initrd.img is missing some things. Or it's the uImage. Trying to work through it.
