Hi yes I can confirm that the wifi settings are not being saved. After reboot you have to re enter the password.

Thanks for reporting. I'm not really sure why it wouldn't save the settings. Anyway, I plan to do some changes how wifi driver is loaded, but that shouldn't affect saving password, because it's done by different SW. Did you try proper reboot through Kodi? Just pulling cable is great way to loose data.

I connect USB WIFI and after reboot it keep password as expected when the build-in wireless fail.
Attached new dmesg if can help to figure out why.

Oh, that driver is bad. It's loud (outputing a lot of debug info) and it's seems to always set random MAC address. Can you confirm this? This could be the reason why connman doesn't remember the password. It seems to me that I have to dig out improvements made to RTL8189ES driver by community and port them over...

It seems that driver is same as RTL8189ES in this regard. This means that wifi modules don't contain any mac address. I will implement MAC address storage so it will be randomly generated at first boot and stored for later reuse.

Jernej

Do you have an image yet to test with the MAC address storage implemented?

Thanks

If it doesn't work, post dmesg output and "cat /storage/.config/mac.txt"
