Currently there is not much info to solve this. I don't have the board, schematic is not released, nobody really knows how to set it up... Did you try if wifi works on official android image? I took a look at fex settings there and there is nothing special about it...

Hm... Maybe there is a way. Can you take OPiOne image, decompile opipc.fex, change following settings:
  1. [module_para]
  2. module_num          = 7
  3. module_power0       = "vcc-wifi-33"
  4. module_power0_vol   = 0
  5. module_power1       =
  6. module_power1_vol   =
  7. module_power2       =
  8. module_power2_vol   =
  9. module_power3       =
  10. module_power3_vol   =
  11. chip_en             =
  12. lpo_use_apclk       = "losc_out"

  13. [wifi_para]
  14. wifi_used             = 1
  15. wifi_sdc_id           = 1
  16. wifi_usbc_id          = 3
  17. wifi_usbc_type        = 1
  18. wl_reg_on             = port:PL07<1><default><default><0>
  19. wl_host_wake          = port:PG10<0><default><default><0>
  20. wl_host_wake_invert   = 0
Copy code

and compile it back?

Ups, I have a typo. Take OPiOne image and edit opione.fex. You would also like to disable ethernet connection with:
  1. [gmac0]
  2. gmac_used = 0
Copy code

Hi jernej thanks for the information. However when I look at the Orange Pi One .fex file within the image it is completely blank. Am I doing something wrong? Could you explain what is necessary to decompile the file.

Do you know tools like bin2fex and fex2bin, all part of sunxi-tools collection? There is a lot of info on linux-sunxi.org wiki.
