Problem with Orage Pi 4 Pro ssd install

I have obtained a Orange Pi 4 Pro and have managed to set it upp and sign into root.

I have also bought a PCIe Gen 3x4 SSD.  I inserted it onto the board as the manual showed, locked it down with a tiny screw
When I try the command from the manual to format the drive it fails:

root@orangepi4pro:~# sudo parted --script /dev/nvme0n1 mklabel gpt mkpart primary ext4 65536s 100%
Error: Could not stat device /dev/nvme0n1 - No such file or directory.

Did I get the wrong ssd or is something else wrong?
