Orange pi plus no lvds. Tell a LCD touch screen fit? The seller does not know. I would like to 7 inches, but can be 5 inches to work in android. Or write what suited for orange plus pi?
Is this compatible: http://ru.aliexpress.com/item/To ... ?recommendVersion=1

Seller advises orange pi, there is LVDS. It is connected to the LCD display without any problems. But I want a faster computer. For me it is important to connect the display can then choose orange pi.

grummel......

For your understand:
Touchscreen= 2 Parts
Display=you can connect everything to the driverboard with have an HDMI out (PSII, Xbox DVD  or simply an OPI.)... its works

only Touchresistor go into the OPI
Touchresistor= connect to USB ... if the OPI runs under Linux: here you must compile to the OPI Kernel  (But I think this is the same way RPI ... BPI) http://andrewmfraser.com/2014/11 ... n-on-rapspberry-pi/
if you use Android ...... I must ask to Aunt Google for you. In Android I'm not smart

Hi,

I can maybe help.
I'm using a touchscreen with OPi & Android, and I worked a little to learn how to use it. After some days, I finally managed to build the good driver (usbtouchscreen.ko) and load it with the arguments. (invert X, or Y, or both, and swap x/y)
Then, you need to calibrate it using the command getevent and put the result in a idc file. (Vendor_0eef_Product_0001.idc) with your vendor + product ref -> read this

I don't know if your touch screen is the same, but mine is compatible with eGalax, even if egalax driver don't work.
I can maybe give you some details, but you need first to learn how to build an Android image, and maybe build & load the driver for the wifi first. (more easy)

I had to build so many images before have a good one... But finally I got it ! So it's not impossible.

OK. When buying a display, then I will ask questions. Buy orange pi plus. I think support will be better later.

@gaara
What hardware did you use?
I am looking for a small size and affordable bitmap display to connect to my OPI over USB or HDMI.
I didn't find anything yet that is easy to interface (and I am not too skilled with HW tweaking)
You can also reach me on freenode irc, channel #orangepi username eFfeM
