@segmentor: see this thread for a Volumio port: http://www.orangepi.org/orangepi ... &extra=page%3D1

Regarding the DAC I cannot help further, still hoping for someone to help me get mine up and running...

Ok, the DAC arrived yesterday. Connected it to a RPi B running Volumio to test it, works great! I tr ...

According to the datasheet H3, i2s bus pins are: GPIO 28 LRCK, GPIO 29 BCK, GPIO 37 Data
Linux is ready to use a dac i2s? modules etc.
I can not help more but that has not yet arrived my board

my DAC must come soon, in my case it is a PCM5102.

I have also seen that in the boot file script.bin there is a section dedicated to the audio that I think should edit to activate the bus i2s
  1. [pcm0]
  2. daudio_used = 0
  3. daudio_master = 4
  4. daudio_select = 1
  5. audio_format = 1
  6. signal_inversion = 1
  7. mclk_fs = 128
  8. sample_resolution = 16
  9. slot_width_select = 32
  10. pcm_lrck_period = 32
  11. pcm_lrckr_period = 1
  12. msb_lsb_first = 0
  13. sign_extend = 0
  14. slot_index = 0
  15. slot_width = 32
  16. frame_width = 0
  17. tx_data_mode = 0
  18. rx_data_mode = 0
  19. i2s_mclk = port:PA18<2><1><default><default>
  20. i2s_bclk = port:PA19<2><1><default><default>
  21. i2s_dout0 = port:PA20<2><1><default><default>
  22. i2s_din = port:PA21<2><1><default><default>
Copy code
I think the line "daudio_used = 0" must be "daudio_used = 1" to operate the pin i2s

in the code wrote from Unoqueva report
  1. i2s_mclk = port:PA18<2><1><default><default>
  2. i2s_bclk = port:PA19<2><1><default><default>
  3. i2s_dout0 = port:PA20<2><1><default><default>
  4. i2s_din = port:PA21<2><1><default><default>
Copy code
like here, then the connections for my board Teradak ES9023 i2s can be:

I am not fully sure, bacause in the code writed from Unoqueva PA18 is called MCLK and PA19 BLCK.

The Allwinner H3 datasheet show at pages 74 and 79 say
PA18 = PCM0_SYNC = I2S/PCM Sample Rate Clock/Sync
PA19 = PCM0_CLK = I2S/PCM Sample Rate Clock
PA20 = PCM0_DOUT = I2S/PCM Serial Data Output

I wrote a email to Allwinner... i wait what they will reply
