Hi,
Unfortunately it looks like there is no warranty on the Orange PIs.
I did ask Steven in a aliexpress chat about it:
"I did try to find the warranty conditions of your Orange PIs, but could not find any.
What warranty do I get on them"
His only answer was:
"what  warranty?"

Then Steven did not answer for an other hour :/

It looks like there is no warranty on any OPI products.
Have that in mind before you buy.

I hope Steven will answer here and make a statement on this issue.

Most electronics comes with no warranty, same goes with Raspberry ,beaglebone also..   they replace it if you find any problem at the time of delivery  .. the reason is someone can drop it in water , give over voltage , reverse the polarity and over draw the current from IO port..

Sorry, but in Europe EVERYTHING has warranty. If i buy OrangePI localy in my country (Poland) i have 24 months of warranty by law and if something go wrong with this i will get new one or money back. With no discussion because thats a law. When i buy same Orange PI at aliexpress i have no warranty, nothing. Difference is with price, time and protection, on ali i have to pay 19$ and wait 5 weeks for delivery with no warranty, localy in Poland i have to pay for same Orange PI 26$ and wait for delivery ONE day with two years of warranty.

And i never again do this mistake and buy this in China. It is not worth it. Weeks of waste time and only few bucks less. Never ever again.

When you buy whatever on Aliexpress, you are fully protected. But if the thing dies in few months, than this is another story and I agree that buying in local EU store is a better choice.

I do get a lot of stuff from all over the world, mostly from China and problem rate is not noticeable. I have a large selection of boards from different vendors and all come in perfect condition and they are all still fully functional.

Week ago i received broken OPI PC2. Seller dont believe me that this board is bad, i even make a video to prove that and nothing. All the time i get messages like "Dear friend, please use XYZ image, board is fine". Aliexpress protection is mythical, few weeks earlier I received bricks (LEGO clones) for kids, great but totally different one that i ordered, wrong set, mistake. Aliexpress claims that piece is piece, i get package with totally different bricks but with same price level and thats ok. No refund, no goods return.

Thats Ali protection

That's a bad luck Well OK ;) I had few disputes too, because of wrong or broken item, but only on one, I was screwed.

Regarding those boards in general, not just Oranges... there are lot's of if's before you can declare board dead. In most cases there is something else, like bad PSU, bad / incompatible SD card, bad cable, bad OS image and when you rule everything out, than it can be DOA.

Im my case its DOA, two identical boards, one working ok, with any psu, any SD card and any OPI PC2 image. Second one not working at all.

Big mistake to buy on aliexpress: Aliexpress support just confirmed the warranty is totally up to the seller.

You are protected by aliexpress only for dead on arrival (DOA) or if the product does not match the description.
I had a few disputes myself and in general it worked out in my favor.

What does me put of on this subject is that Steven of the OPI company does not respond to this subject! Just after I did ask him in the aliexpress chat he went silent! And no comment of him here...

@ mrbaz: please can you post here the link of the Polish company selling the OPI ;)

Edit:
the German shop (https://kolbers.de/) has only the OPI Plus in stock
