Hello

My 'new' OPI Plus 2 keeps crashing overnight or during the day. The CPU gets too hot I think.
What I've already done to try fix this:

  • Apply heatsinks to the cpu and memory
  • Lower the CPU freq of each core to 1000 Mhz

It crashes when it handles torrents via Deluge.
Does anyone have any suggestions, cause I'm getting pretty warm myself!!

Costed €50, I'm getting fed up with it, so spending another €50 on a other (brand) board makes €100.

I'm using Debian Jessie with OMV and Deluge.
Since i've disconnected the USB-drive and applied heatsinks to the cpu it seems not to crash anymore.

As an adapter I'm using an older smartphone charger
