becouse of very weak quality

What exactly is week quality?

Everything else (especially Raspbian) you will find out there is unsupported, years behind, buggy, security hazardous - utter junk compared to this.

Good luck finding this out on your own.

Hi,

Looking for the same solution here.
Installed Armbian on the eMMC but i want to install another OS, but it's still booting from eMMC.
Already updated and upgraded Armbian so i recognizes the SD card... but how to clear the eMMC?

This is what i found in another chat here on the forum:

"Hi,
Clear the eMMC does not make sense, instead you should overwrite It with another system.
To do that, just write a system image in a SD, turn on the OPi with the SD plugged in, and then execute the script to write that system to the eMMC (this overwrite the older one)."

I did write to image again on the SD card, and now it's booting from the SD card (not eMMC!)
Now i can rewrite this image to the eMMC to clear it from the other old install (Armbian)

Raspbian is here for promotional purposes to suggest back compatibility with RPi which is very limited/joke. A kernel is what makes boards usable and a kernel on Raspbian for Oranges is from another time. Even you made it boot, you don't want to use that. It was never updated and will never be updated.

Try this: https://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-plus-2 The same kernel with 100x patches over the top and also a stable modern 4.13.x kernel is around the corner. Under testing at the moment.
