I am attempting to boot my Orange Pi 2G-IoT for the first time but I am getting an error on each flavour of OS (raspbian server, ubuntu and armbian) I attempt. I have even used different SD cards but still no avail.
Card Used :
  • San Disk 8 G.B. Class 10
  • San Disk 16 G.B. Class 10
  • Samsung Evo 32 G.B. Class 10

These cards are working properly on other boards. I have successfully booted Orange Pi Zero with San Disk 8 G.B. Class 10 and San Disk 16 G.B. Class 10 SD cards. Samsung Evo 32 G.B. Class 10 card works seamlessly with my Raspberry Pi 3.

Serial Debug Connection Settings :
  • Baud                             : 921600
  • No. of Bits                     : 8

Thanks for the info. Tried with San Disk 8 G. B. Class 4. The system finally booted. Will try to flash Linux on NAND.

There could be several reasons why you are experiencing incredibox this issue with your Orange Pi 2G-IoT board. Make sure that the boot settings are correctly configured for the specific OS you are using. For example, Raspbian requires a different boot configuration than Ubuntu or Armbian.
