@Sitheek (So I tried to compile kernel ....)
Have you made any changes to the kernel (config and/or ...
Thank you.
I did it two times, first time without changing anything, second time I have used your config script to see whether ov5640 support and v4l2 drivers are enabled.
Each time I got over 80 megabytes uimage .
I think I have some issues generating rootfs.cpio.gz which I think is included later in uimage.
I need to try again but for now I will be very grateful if you could compile this kernel for me with ov5640 support enabled and v4l2 enabled too.
I think my .config will not be much help because I am not very experienced in compiling linux kernels, I did it only on Openwrt
I do not change anytching in sources because I do not know what to change ...
Could you tell us what disto you are using for compiling on x86, because my friend tried to compile this kernel on x86 lubuntu and got some syntax error in file arch/arm/mach-sunxi/power/brom/gen_check_code ? (unexpected end of file or something like that)
I did it on x86 debian jessie and everything compiled ok, with a few warnings and mismatches. In debian there is newer version of g++ armhf - from emdebian.org repository !
And one stupid question - do I need to change u-boot each time I install new kernel on BOOT partition? (I think not). Do I need script.bin ?

Have you tested on the mini 2?
I tried the NO-cooling-budget kernel, and applied a fan.
The temperature was pretty low as 32 degrees, but the max_freq (cat from max_freq) dropped soon from 1.53GHz to 1.2GHz after booting into system and never goest up again.
I tried the NO-cooling-budget kernel, and applied a fan.
The new kernels and images are ready. Most problems are solved including the CPU killing (NO-cooling-budget kernel not needed any more).
Working on all H3 boards (OPI-PLUS, OPI-PLUS2, OPI-2, OPI-PC).
I'll post more information tomorrow.
I've just checked the first post in this thread and the only link is <https://mega.co.nz/#F!09cD2LhZ!xnhXgvAQk4tojR6bRyDFqA> which just returns an apparently blank page. I was hoping to get a list of downloadable images. Is there a better link that I'm missing ?

There are 2 subfolders on that page, and you have to select "linux" subfolder. I've updated the link in the 1st post, and it now points directly to the OrangePI Linux images. Please try again.
Are there other links in this post that I'm missing ? My browser is identifying as "Mozilla/5.0". There is some Javascript in the reply that could be affected by my user-agent string.
The reply I get is shown below (hopefully the HTML will be retained in this post). Everything is "display:none" which doesn't seem right to me.
