hello, i have a few questions and issues.

  • new archive contains u-boot_OPI-(2|PC|PLUS).fex, but scripts are use only u-boot_OPI(|-emmc).fex. whether to use the new * .fex files? or you update your build scripts?
  • archive contains duplicate folders firmware and lib/firmware.
  • сan you make an archive with clean the kernel source (without tonns of *.o and *.tmp.img)?
  • сurrent script exits with an error from perl if
    1. ONLY_BASE="yes"
    2. #...
    3. #LANGUAGE="en"
    4. #LANG="en_US.UTF-8"
As a consequence, the resulting image has no running SSH.

hello, i have a few questions and issues.

only the script.bin.* and uImage_* files need to be copied
thanks for noticing duplicate firmware directory, only the one in lib directory has to be used
I think the kernel sources archive kernel_3.4.9.tar.xz is clean
I don't understand your comment about "сurrent script" ...

Thank you loboris for your detailed in depth support of the O Pi boards! Help please. After fin ...

I don't quite understand your problem.
If you installed Debian xfce image (according to the instructions), the booting process should end with graphical login screen.
Text messages during boot are normal, it is the part of the kernel loading.
You can get the same messages with dmesg command in terminal, use dmesg > message_file.txt to output it to the file so you can analize it.
There is no need to use giant heatsink (unless you realy want it), the fan alone is more than enough.

ssh works fine on jessie & ubuntu image w/o problems here ...

it can not be. code from second-stage:
  1. if [ "${ONLY_BASE}" = "yes" ] ; then
  2.     echo "Installing base packages..."
  3.     apt-get ${_apt} install sudo isc-dhcp-client netbase ifupdown iproute network-manager --no-install-recommends >> $_LOGFILE 2>&1 &
Copy code

if specified ONLY_BASE = "yes", then no install openssh happens.
