The specs list the connector as a 25 pin ZIF. So far I have not found any matching camera modules. Also, looking at the connector, it has 33 pins, which I confirmed by counting (16 on one side, 17 on the other).

Yes, so sorry i do not know it is not support for US band before @jonsmirl email me. It is a message transmission mistake between our group. Band for US maybe need to wait next batch of production.

Can I return the boards I got? They are useless without US Bands that they were advertised as supporting.

Yes, you could contact with customer service in Aliexpress to check the terms of replace and return.
