6 month ago the engineer was working on it...
now they do not even answer

I tried for a while the 2G model and it was wasted time. Very, very unstable. I had hopes in this new 4G, but given the delay in launching linux OS and without even having an answer, it seems that it is not going to be a product to keep in mind for serious projects

Could you please say if there is a chance to get a linux on 4G in the foreseeable future, or has it finally ended?

Never. The engineers themselves are not interested in this raw product. Too expensive and unpopular to make an effort to develop.
