Hey there,
I noticed that the One Plus permanently creating a load of 3 even when there is no process using cpu time.

After a few minutes the load avg stabilize at about 3.

The CPU frequency is always 1,8GHz on all four cores and can also not be stepped down by using cpufreq-set.

Any ideas on this?

No, just kernel quality is a bare minimum.

It's an insane big difference but of course kernel is not ready yet for end users. Still, months to go.

It's not yet adjusted for Opi One Plus, but it's an H6 chip.

Are there any early development bleeding edge kernel images or even complete images from Armian available for the OPi One Plus yet? I'd love to test those and report any bug I run into.


I know unexpected or weird behavior can occour but I take the risk.

It seems like the RaspberryPI ran into the same issue a few years ago. It was caused by a bug in the firmware.

Any chance this gets fixed for the OrangePI?
