If you can connect it to another monitor, or if you can connect via ssh, download update_kernel.sh ...

Hi
I tried on Debian ,fedora , Ubuntu.

After installation fresh systems [Debian ,Fedora, Ubuntu]  Network card  does not work.  I can’t use update_kernel.sh .

Copying files uImage from opi_kernel to file BOOT  solves the problem with network card.

Starting update_kernel.sh it does no change anything. HDMI further does not work.

Cable HDMI-DVI is ok.

Modyfication script.fex (script.bin.OPI-PLUS_1080p60_hdmi)   does not work.

  • hdcp_enable = 0
  • hdmi_cts_compatibility = 1

Download and extract attached file, rename one of them to script.bin then copy to the FAT type boot partition. Then you will be all set.

This file is not work .  Network card is work but HDMI does not work . Screen is black  .
I tried  in Debian and Ubuntu.
I will taste tomorrow  converter HDMI - VGA.  It will work maybe.

My procedure:
1 Format TF card.
2 Install new system  : Debian_jessie_mini.img or OrangePI_Ubuntu_Vivid_Mate.img
3
delete all file in catalogue /boot
Copy file uImage.bin  and script.bin , script.bin.OPi_PLUS****  to catalogue /boot ( orginal uImage.bin -network card not work)

4 Connect monitor to orange pi plus and cable network.
5 connect power and run system

I've got the same issue. Screen doesn't display anything, but I've got temporary solution of this problem, but isn't comfortable. You have to turn off your display, connect hdmi cable only, wait about 2-3 minutes to boot your system up and then turn on the display. It should work. Does anybody have other solution?

Hi

I tried so to do first day.

hdcp_enable = 0
hdmi_cts_compatibility = 1

Efect : green artefacts in screen.
I will test your method  in file which  loboris sended to my.

The worst this is that i have several premises  to think that it hardware problem.

Controler SATA is Very Hot . it is normal ?
if i connect monitor diode D3 it warms. Very Very warms .

If diode D3 very hot then  monitor display NO SIGNAL  ( hdmi-vga) (hdmi-dvi  ; monitor is black , no message ).
