I clarified in FAQ that there is only one method possible. If you are using newest image, then you must use new method (you can't have two drivers for same thing). I must also add that if you want to configure another remote, you must first delete old configuration file. Otherwise timings will not match and you will have problems like you described.

My suggestion to you is to delete configuration file (like described in one of my previous posts) and start from the beginning and don't mix remotes.

Jernej.
Can You build with I2S module ?

I don't have any experience with it so I would say no for now. But you are free to send me a patch and give us the argument why to include it.

Hi, i'm having a question regarding using wireless-sticks.
you told me on github those devices aren't made for wireless, so the only real stable connection can be reached via LAN.

I have an older Raspberry PI A, which i use as wireless-client. this wireless adapter reaches 150mbits fully on the raspberry pi, without problems (rates about 30-40 MBit/s).
i havent tested this stick on the "orange pi" already but another wireless stick (with long cord, i should test with shorter one).
so i could not understand your statement.

i will test the same adapter on the orangepi, but the alfa stick (rtl8187) runs very bad on the orangepi.
i have a good feeling about using an tp-link (atheros chipset) stick, like on my raspberry pi.

who has expericance with wireless sticks?

today i got my OPiPC and installed openelec build 20160209. Connected wired network, hdmi (video and audio), power... lirc and usb remote configured (as mentioned in the faq)

Then I noticed that DTS HD and TruHD is not passed trough to the receiver properly - i get no audio. Is this a known error?

DD and DTS are ok, and yes of course i have all the capabilities checked in the config.

Yesterday I managed to load the settings for the IR remote control. Then I uploaded a few additions. Today  is not working the EPG. Can I from  logofiles  figureout out why it does not load?

To be honest, I didn't bother much with audio because it was already a problem to configure it as it is.
