acestream 3.1.5 is now in playstore and requires register so it work. your port works well so far, but the registration issue has stopped working and fails when you try to play a acestream link. It would have possibility to introduce our user pass ? Another doubt , would possibility that the cache is automatically erased whenever we stopped for a acestream ?

What kind of problem do you have? My Acestream port (based on Plexus) still works.

This is a modified version of the engine acestream 3.1.5 . This works even if not put username and password . I think the key is that your port one is used this version.

Unfortunately, apk installation is impossible in OpenELEC.
My port was a port straight from an old version of Plexus plugin with a few adaptations to make it work with Openelec on Orangepi. However, I don't have enough knowledge (and time) to adopt the new 3.1.5 version.

Playback is almost perfect on H3,  thank you for your excellent work, Jernej. A barely noticeable "hiccups" occure between 20 to 40 seconds. Is it a vsync issue or is it an effect of difference between 23.976 and 24hz displayed on a TV screen? I wonder would it be possible to implement "sync playback to display"? It works quite well on Win10 versions of Kodi.

This stuttering should be fixed. I'm just not sure in which image It would be best if you would compile from source... Vsync is not implemented and would definetly improve things. Let me fix few driver/kernel related things first.

I think, that the shuttering is problem of 23,976 HZ as you write. This problem still persist in my last buiild from 2016/04/09.

...ature. It was partially explained on Kodi forum. Implementation of sync playback to display is impossible in Android, but might be possible Linux (Openelec) as Linux might have implementation of video reference clock. Sadly, I have no knowledge how to achieve that see posts #4 and #22.   http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=219796&page=2

I think it's the problem of being limited by the kernel. Maybe when we would finally have a functioning mainline kernel, it would be possible to fix

At this point playback of 23.976 with this Openelec build is still better than current (5.05) Armbian's playback with hw accelerated mpv (resolution set manually to 1080p24). It's all about barely noticeable hiccups in openelec ;)
