First i wanna thank Mara for taking the time and making the slackware images Great work!
I've tested slack-current-miniroot_03Jul16-3.4.112-orange_pi_plus_2e-build-20160714.img on OrangePi PC , it seems to work fine, except the LAN driver and rtl8192cu. (Patches missing?)Everything else seems to work just fine. I haven't had time to test and see if the images with the 4.6 and 4.7rc will work. The most  easy temporary solution to the missing kernel patches is to get the kernel, firmware and modules from armbian.

Hello mara!
I've trying to use your last image with hard float. From SD it works  fine.
But when I trying to install slackware on emmc - it's faild to boot from it.
All i've got is:
"U-Boot SPL 2016.07 (Sep 01 2016 - 21:48:36)
DRAM: 2048 MiB
Could not determine boot source

resetting ..."
And so on continuously.

I think it's because of different emmc flash on my "oprange PI plus 2" and the "plus 2E" boards.
At the previous soft float image, boot from emmc works good.

So, do you think the problem is a new mainline u-boot?
If it is so, can i compile and install u-boot in emmc separately after doing "setup.sh"?

Hello dx.l,

before running setup.sh, you can try to copy the old file to download /boot/u-boot-sunxi-with-spl.bin
I will try to update the image of the last u-boot

the problem was in the configuration u-boot, recognition eMMC was incorrectly set up, as well as in the creation of FS transport script. commit, commit

currently fixed, and create new images http://dl.fail.pp.ua/slackware/orange_pi_plus_2e/

Hello mara!
Thanks for reply!

I recompiled u-boot and install loader to the eMMC successfully. The kernel boots.
Also, the libidn is missing from mniniroot image. Without it slackpkg won't work (wget need this library). Check it for the future releases.

Hi

The H3 support is already in Slackware ARM -current  (see ftp://ftp.arm.slackware.com/slac ... NSTALL_ORANGEPI.TXT ) , but there are problems with the device drivers in Linux 4.10 - the Ethernet does not get a carrier on the OPi H3 Plus v1.1, and the sun8i emac driver kernel panics under load (network load + swap usage).
Can somebody get in touch with me to get the developer of the driver some boards so that he can test for himself?
