Sorry, I was tired
I have found the values: (http://www.rapidtables.com/convert/electric/wh-to-mah.htm)
E=42Ah/5V= 210Wh
So for 12V:
Q=210Wh/12Vx1000=17 500 mAh

And for 19V:
Q=210Wh/19x1000=11 000 mAh

So 4x my old battery (50Wh)... Great!  ;-)

By the way, I need a home physical button. This button is in fact right click of the mouse.
So I have purchassed a cheaper mouse (here) and I will keep only the right button to adapt it. Maybe I will take this after.
For the battery app, I can build a driver to enable it. But as my experience, it will not work out-of-the-box...
Here is the ./config.sh of the kernel. I will do some tries.

About USB and supply, do you think it shall better to insert a powered HUB inside the tablet ? (like this)
The USB devices for the moment:
- Touchscreen
- Mouse (button home)
- External plug (one or two, if I need a physical keybord + external drive for example)
- Maybe more, if I need something else...

All of this is in working progress...
Here is a better pic of the screen. Unfortunately the multitouch is not supported by the device, so the test stop here!(The red tape is for experiment, the final build will be better)

On my laptop, it's a 11.25V@5600mAh battery (13' screen) The Asus screen board is optimized for 13'  ...

Its pretty easy to figure out. Assuming No loss of efficiency the theoretical numbers are always there.

5v @ 42,000mah = 210WH
12V @ ??? = 210 WH

The Watt hours never change since watts = V x A

EDIT: Didn't see the new page XD You already figured it out.

Honestly Im going to be using a powered Hub. Just get one like thishttp://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/ ... _detailpage_o01_s00

Then cut open the cable that leads to the device (The long cbale coming off) and attach something like this http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/ ... _detailpage_o02_s00
To ONLY the two power cables, leaving the two data cables connected to the USB head. The point of that is to make it into a cheap powered Hub.

In this case the magic number is 11,000 mah

Ok, nice !

I don't know yet if I will use 12V and 5V output of the battery, or just 12V and step-down to 5V. But I would have to unsoldier some usb plug, to put them on the side of the machine...
Now my build is in pause, the time I receive the parts. I have looked a little about the case (epoxy resin& carbon cloth) but all I need for make it is a little expensive (again about 90$)... So I don't know yet, I have time to think about this.

Dude, go 3D printed. That's what im going to do, I bought myself a prusia i3 that's on its way in the mail. After I get it, its simple enough. Get the measurements I want, add screw holes and print.

Are you any good at 3D modelling with something like blender?

Yeah.. It's another investisment !
I fact it should really cool to have a foot like this, from HP slate 17:

By the way, I have tried a benchmark with Android 4.2, and AnTuTu Benchmark app.
All is working ! But the 3D render is a little bad. 6~7 FPS maximum. I got 10840 Pts. For compare, Nexus 4 has 18500. I will try again with the ssd.
The avantage of my build (if it's works), is that I can change the CPU, with changing the Pi board !!
It's an evolutive tablet

I believe these boards are overclockable. (I think) You could get a copper shim and some alumina paste for cooling and see if that raises the fps at all? CPU wise it should be ok. a mali 400 aint exactly strong. I wish it was one of the new mali gpus but meh.

I wont have my 3D printer for another week, but if you have the skills you could use soemthing like sketchup or blender to make a STL that will fit your build and I would be willing to print for the cost of shipping and abs/pla. You can find companies that do 3D printer from STL's online too.

I don't know if it's overckloable. On the fex.file, there this comment:
"; max_freq: cpu maximum frequency, based on Hz, can not be more than 1008MHz
; min_freq: cpu minimum frequency, based on Hz, can not be less than 60MHz"
So I don't know. It's maybe to prevent some material problems, and for responsability questions..For mali, it's maybe possible, but it's not my priority at this moment.

I must find a way to start with sata, and it's not done. I'm trying with an old hdd but at this time I havn't found.

For your proposition, why not ! Thanks for this. I must before learn to use blender XD and also have all the build to draw a scheme.
In few weeks, if you want we could make some business lol
But I keep my idea also, I would like a fun and strong result !
