I only errors in compiling

I never seen any error like that. Try to compile it in your home folder...

use ubuntu for compile in the root folder but nothing that mistake
you could compile a version !? I continued problems in doing so ...

No, root folder is not the best place to start compiling. By home folder I meant /home/<username>/ Which drivers did you enable?

Has the SATA been figured out yet? i have a drive that when i plug it in it starts up and spins but the OS never loads it up. If I plug it in to a USB adapter the OS loads it, so i know the drive is good. any ideas?

According to the feedback, SATA should work. Sorry, no ideas. Can you provide full dmesg output?

I was able to confirm it works, i think the drive i was trying to use is incompatible.
