Funny thing. I have three pieces of OPiPC+. On first I installed I had this problem. But I tied on ...

As far as I know, nobody works on CEC. I don't have appropriate HW and nobody else really cares. If you have appropriate expertise, go for it.

During normal video playback or you are using some kind of TV plugin?

This time i just tried to install some addons, never even got to it, went through the list and at a random point it just crashed.

jernej
please tell me whether it is possible to install a aceproxy on the Openelec? https://github.com/AndreyPavlenko/aceproxy
proxy requires: python-gevent python-psutil (as well vlc for multi-channel play with torrent TV)

VLC is not supported, python libs maybe. Others have more knowledge about acestream, so they may help you.

It is possible if you build the image yourself. I didn't manage to get it working, but is it is possible... (i've seen it on other openelec builds for other devices)

I know that this is possible, I have now is alexelec x86, there is a working of the box.
before I installed Ubuntu in chroot, and run aceproxy and acestream, when I used openelec x86.
openelec under the orange, does not install a proxy, it is an error in the Python library.

OpenELEC:~ # /storage/.kodi/aceproxy/acehttp.py
Traceback (most recent call last):

ImportError: No module named gevent

Alexelec is modified OpenELEC. It seems that it is specially crafted to support aceproxy and acestream. Check this folder: https://github.com/AlexELEC/Alex ... ter/packages/xmedia
Under depends subfolder you would find gevent and other python libraries needed for this. But as already "xmedia" name suggest, this is extension of standard OpenELEC functionality. You can definetly clone my repo and port changes over. But instead asking me for support, ask Alex or whoever is the author of that fork. I put my fork to maintenance mode because there are more interesting things to do with OPi than maintaining Kodi on half broken BSP kernel.

Maybe you can ask him to try and make a new build based on a fork from jernej's build? (if jernej agrees)

My permission here is not needed. Otherwise I wouldn't develop open source project. In fact, I would encourage forking, but my position is that further developing with BSP kernel is a waste of time.
