So you are mixing master branch package with openelec-7.0 branch system. That is not recommended or supported. Sorry, I can't help you. Actually, nobody can help you if you don't provide any log file.

By hack the systemd status messages from console serial port, Kodi can't find libavcodes.so.56, maybe I need re-compile kodi.

I need help with testing. It seems I'm close on nailing issue with suspend/resume.

It seems that it almost work IF there is nothing plugged into any USB port. I would like as much confirmations on that as possible. Other issue is buggy driver for HW deinterlacing, but that can be hopefully fixed without much work.

i can verify that the power button standby function works on OPiPC, both the newest image and on 20160224223632, and I've installed the VU+ PVR plugin from openelec repo successfully on 20160428195215

Does it make any difference, if you have anything plugged into USB during suspend/resume?

no, i tried both with a mouse and a BT dongle in all three USB ports.. works lika a charm
