eMMC, especially this newer generation, is much faster than best UHS-1 micro sd card. Check here for how much:

OPiPC for $15 was a good deal. But adding WiFi and eMMC for $10 is rather worse deal. Cheap WiFi don ...

When can we expect the Orange Pi Plus 2E? I'm very interested in one of these boards.

- OPI ZERO at $5
- OPI PC at $10
- OPI TURBO 64bit board with Gb LAN / USB3 at $20

would be real news.

Bullshit. SBC for $5 is just a PR stunt: http://whereismypizero.com (and if RPi zero is not out of  ...

If the boards are more expensive they are not competitive to RPi3. RPi3 is available for $35 and for this price you get excellent support of the huge community. And hardware wise RPi3 is very close to OPi/H3 with extra WiFi.
OPi for $30 is not worth of even thinking. I think current price of OPiPC is reasonable and OPiOne for $10 is good only for some limited applications. If you need to extend it to have extra USB ports (via soldering or additional USB hub) or analog output it is beter to spend $5 more.
I explained it in different post on Armbian forum.

There are three OPI boards missing on the market :

$5 minimal 1W board  ( stripped down OPI ONE-ZERO with sane power supply )
> cheap+powerful alternative to Raspi A+ and RaspiZeroAvailability

$10 universal low cost board à la OPI PC
> cheap+powerful alternative to Raspi 2

$20 high end 64bit, eMMC, GbE, USB3
> cheap+vastly more powerful alternative to Raspi 3

No crappy cameras, non-working wifi and other unsupported 'extras' to call it PLUS, ENHANCED, X-2, X-3 etc..., just sound supported basics and fast interfaces ! The rest is up to the community anyway as there is no software support from the vendor ( migth be smart to validate Armbian and slightly nudge Allwinner as well ... )

Ok ... I'll shut up now as I am just a customer. Some companies do very well by listening to their happy customers and hardly anyone can do without them.
