Openelec on Orange Pi PC randomly switches screen to inverse mode.
Is it known problem? Is it hardware problem or software?

It happens in both OpenELEC and Android!

I experienced that with another board because of too long HDMI cable. Try another one, preferably shorter.

I used the OPI PC in two TVs are both Philips brand.
In the oldest of the two TVs, I've never had problems, but on the other from time to time the colors came out wrong, and while this is solved doing nothing.
Now it seems that in the newest TV is showing me colors without problems after disabling the option "pixel plus link" on the TV, do not know why but this option has something to do with the HDMI-CED

cpu66 I see that your TV is philips, go into installation / preferences / pixel plus link and turn it off

removing and inserting the hdmi cable also solves, too.

When I put the possible solution, I tried several options and finally doing what I set seems to be solved, today I tried again and it seems that the problem continues, ever seems that if that disappears when you change the option, but not always do.
When I wrote the post, my TV did not have any problem during 4 hours of operation.
We'll have to keep looking for a solution.

I've been trying again and again I seem to work well, but I doubt if it's the option that I have changed or if time is running out.
I set the image resolution in 1080p 50hz in kodi and work well, default is 60hz, I have also tried to 24Hz and after a while the colors were not correct.

Edit: I just fail

You're asking the wrong place and  also see you have not lost much time searching for information.

But still I'll tell you how.
