I don't know what could be the problem with mounting sata drive from fstab.
If you don't need it early in boot proces, try to mount it from rc.local, it should work
  1. mount -o defaults,noatime,nodiratime /dev/sda1 /mnt
Copy code
For kswapd problem, you could to try to activate the swap (from partition or file).

To easily change resolution please download scripts_bin.zip from Mega.

I did a binary comparison between "script.bin.OPI-PLUS" and "script.bin.OPI-PLUS_720p", and they are exactly the same, while "script.bin.OPI-2" and "script.bin.OPI-2_720p" differs for two bytes.
Are you sure the ones for OPI+ are corrects?

scripts_bin.zip
I've copied the wrong file for OPI-PLUS_720p. Sorry for that.
I've uploaded the scripts_bin.zip agai, this time with the right files (hopefully).
@matteobp  thanks for noticing.

@joole.sy  script.bin cannot cause the sound or cpu problem (if you copied the right one). You will always "lose" one CPU core if the CPU overheats.

I'm still unclear on what source code to use for building the kernel for orange pi plus.  I found one source that says use banana pi src but I question if that will work with all the hardware.  The link on the orange pi to git hub does not specify a different source for the plus.  Is the source the same for all flavors of orange?

You can use Linux SDK from OrangePI download (h3-lichee-1.0.tar.gz)It is the same for all H3 boards.
I've made some changes, you can download them from Mega (lichee.tar.gz). Unpack it to the lechee directory (created after you unpack h3-lichee-1.0.tar.gz).
There are the script to compile the kernel (build_linux_kernel.sh), just run it in lechee directory.
If you have never built the kernel before, you'll have to install some packages first. There are many tutorials for it, just search...

Hi,

Is it possible to add emmc driver somehow to the build zacho_seven in his img has emmc included, I am testing his lubuntu 009 img, there are many problems with it, but I have emmc system installed. FTDI does not work system not recognize it, root policykit has been wrongly set and no wifi. Do you have a plan to include emmc driver in your kernel ?

I think emmc driver is included in the kernel.
If you can see and mount emmc partitions when booted to my image from SD Card, then it is easy to boot from emmc.
Can you check and report.
  1. sudo blkid
  2. sudo fdisk -l
Copy code
